SOURCE: Water pouring out from soap tray !!!

hi Water leaks in a washer are often difficult to trace. There are many possibilities to look for. The problem could be a loose connection, a broken hose, a cracked component, or a defective seal. It could also be a hole in the tub. If a hole in the tub is the problem, it's usually best to replace the washer. Most leaks can be eliminated by tightening water connections and replacing deteriorated components. To stop a leak:

Step 1: Check the lid seal. If faulty, replace with a new gasket.

Step 2: Check the hoses at faucet connections. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

Step 3: Check the hoses at water valve connections. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

Step 4: Check the drain hoses. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

Step 5: Check the inlet nozzles. Tighten connections or replace nozzles.

Step 6: Check the splash guard. Tighten connections or replace.

Step 7: Check any plastic valve. Tighten connections or replace.

Step 8: Check the outlet hose to drain. Tighten connections or replace hose.

SOURCE: Have Whirlpool front loading washer.

Hi

Make sure the detergent dispenser drawer is opening. This issue occurs due to jammed soap dispenser. Dispenser Distribution System is located in the top left corner of the washer. The system consists of a motor that turns a cam gear. The Detergent Dispenser Assembly is located
under the washer top. Begin by removing the washer top, console and front panel.
Separate the water inlet and window washer tube from the boot. Pull the water inlet tube from the outlet connector of the detergent dispenser.
NOTE: When reinstalling the water inlet tube, wet the water inlet gasket on the detergent dispenser
with water only. Do not use any other lubricant. Align the locator nib on the water inlet tube with the indentation on the dispenser connector and slide the tube onto the detergent dispenser
assembly.
Remove the screw securing the front of the detergent dispenser assembly to the top front frame
member.
Disconnect the vent tube from the detergent dispenser assembly. Remove the screw securing the detergent dispenser assembly to the top left frame member. Slide the assembly back slightly and lift the assembly out.
To remove the detergent dispenser motor assembly, disconnect the cam follower spring and lift
the cam follower from the diverter cam and rotate the diverter cam clockwise to access the
motor mounting screws. Check for all the connections to the dispenser motor or anythingf obstructing the dispenser drawer functioning. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Indesit WM12 Front Loading Washing machine. The fabric softner poured into the tray never dispenses into the wash load. I even find water in the tray as if something is clogged. Help!

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. Your tray has a hose that leads the fluid into the washer. You need to clean this hose out. Take out the tray and clean the hose. This should solve your issue.

Water is coming out of the soap dispenser, what do

We had water pour out of the dispenser of our Kenmore HE2 washer. hot water helped us for one load then i realize that a trapped rag was the problem We were actually able to pull the face cloth out of the intake tube without taking everything apart!
opened the washer door and feel around inside the rubber seals to find where the intake tube connects to the drum (upper-left side). felt a small bit of cloth sticking out of the tube and were able to slowly work it out by pulling back and forth. and pulled it completely out thats all it was try this

The fabric softner dispenser is clogged. it fills

Pour really, really hot water into it and that should disperse the fabric softerner...then run the washer with NO clothes in it...good luck

Fabric softner dispenser

Small brush and plain water. Rub, flush, repeat...

If it's clogged where you can't get a brush, pour very hot water into it. Last resort would be blowing it out with an air compressor...

Soap dispenser not working

It sounds like the water valve has a clogged filter.  Shut the cold water to the washer off, disconnect the hose and remove the filter screen in the washer water valve.  Clean out the filter with toothbrush.  Reinstall and everything should be ok.

We had the same problem- for us it was because we were mixing laundry booster (Oxyclean) with liquid soap in the dispenser. It seems the water running through the tray had insufficient pressure to properly flush the tray out, so residue accumulated on the back & underside of the tray. Our water pressure is good here, and we don't use a water softener or filters that can reduce the pressure. Unfortunately it seems to just be a bad design of the soap dispenser tray.

We also had a problem with water/bleach leaking from our soap dispenser- when we used the bleach compartment in the dispenser we got leaks dripping onto the floor from behind the front cover of the washing machine. It was running down the front of the washer behind the front cover & coming out onto the floor. The repair guy said this was because the dispenser tray was pulled out too far, but the reason we were pulling the soap tray out so far was because the bleach compartment was too far back in the tray to use if we didn't. Now we just leave the drawer partially closed & pour the bleach directly into the soap compartment along with the soap.

Most likely your softener tray is clogged. There are some softeners which clog easier, this can be diluted with a little water before you pour it into tray. The softener tray needs to be cleaned.

Possible the tray is clogged; you can pull it out to clean it.
