Connect to the FAS250 console by using the provided serial cable.
Logon to the appliance using username 'root' and the root password.
Type the following exactly as shown:
priv set diag
halt -c factory
The filer will reboot and ask for a fresh setup the next time it boots.
This should only be done if you are sure you really want to reset the configuration! This should probably only be done if you know how to then proceed and re-configure the filer.
If you do not have the 'root' password try resetting it. You will have to reboot the filer and type "ctrl-c" when prompted to access the special maintenance boot menu. Then choose the option for resetting the root password.
