The "F24" fault code indicates a water temperature sensor error. The temperature sensor could be faulty; the wire connection may have vibrated loose or off the sensor or a possible heater or control board failure.
The "rl" (remove load) error code appears when you are running the "Clean Washer" cycle. You must not have a load of clothes in the washer during this cycle. Remove the clothes from the drum, and restart the cycle. The "Sud" error indicates that the detergent is over-sudsing. The Duet washer automatically combats this by reducing the amount of suds in the washing machine. Let the washer finish the suds-reduction steps. Use less detergent during the next wash cycle.
On this model of HE washer, the F24 code indicates that the water temperature sensor is out of range (23 degrees to 217 degrees F). This usually indicates a bad thermistor (temperature sensor - Key 24 in the image below). A bad wiring connection or a failed control board could also cause this problem.
the fault code indicates that your main data cable from the controller to the motor has miss-comunicated: unplug the washer wait about 30 minutes then plug it back in and, let me know if the code clears
This error code indicates that the door is not locking. Is the washer door firmly shut?
The door must be completely closed for the washer to operate. The door may look as if it's closed, but it may not be latched. Open the door and firmly close it. Were you washing a large load?
Before you close the washer door, check for laundry items sticking out beyond the door opening. Leave enough space in the washer to allow the clothes to freely tumble. Reduce your load size if needed. To remove the error display, press Pause/Cancel twice.
If Pause/Cancel does not work:
Unplug the washer or disconnect the power for one minute.
Plug in the washer or reconnect the power.
Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, and all of the other conditions above have been checked, call for service.
You can attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU) by unplugging the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes. This will often clear momentary glitches with the computer. However, if the error code reappears, you more than likely have a problem with the door latch assembly. "Fdl" is a door latch error which indicates the latch is not locking properly and generally needs to be replaced. The following link explains what to do:
If you determine that you need to replace the door latch assembly, parts are available at searspartdirect.com. Just type in your COMPLETE model number and look under the "Door and Latch Parts" heading for item number 7 (part #8181700). I hope this helps you. If you need further assistance, please let me know.
