Question about Canon imageCLASS D320 Digital Copier

1 Answer

The install cartridge error message appears even though I installed a new cartridge. It was working and then it started giving only solid black copies. I thought maybe the cartridge was out so I installed a new one but the message still stays on. How do I turn it off and mke my copier work again?

I'm not sure I understand what Xptareg2000 is telling me to check on. I don't see anything missing and assume the "ground" is activating as I can manually feel it activate whenI push on it and can watch it extend when I close the door without the cartridge installed.

If you are not a technician please go to a service center. You can solve it easily.I know what is problem. This problem arise when your cartridge is not adjust properly.Cartridge has two side ground point (1) OPC drum connector(2) MG roller connector if any missing then machine say install cartridge.Other problem any mechanical is missing.I have been selling 20 PCs copier. When long times refill cartridge then it damage all parts then machine can not recognized properly.

How do I fix e07

I assume you have a Canon copier based on the E007 error code. The Fuser fixing film is torn and the Fixing film assembly or the entire fuser should be replaced. Very common issue.......You cannot reset that code without first replacing the part causing the code.

HP Laserjet M1522nf - displaying an "install black cartridge"

this error can be caused by a paper jam, or a little piece of paper in the toner area, Take the cartridge out and use a flashlight to check in the sides looking for paper. Other reason is that sometimes the sensor that detect the toner is out of place and in that case you can try to power cycle with the toner out before you install it again. Good luck

Green and red lights on solidly, error message saying 'cartridge not recognized' even when it is a brand new Epson cartridge! Tried a reset but it doesn't make any difference

When you installed the cartridge, did you check for any protective tape on the cartridge at the bottom. This is a common missed item in the installation process. If there is tape on it, check instructions and remove it. The cartridge will not work otherwise.

Dell A960 cartridge problem

Does the black cartridge print? If not did you take the tape off of it? Error 50 is a generalized error reading relating to a number of cartridge problems. If the color cartridge is empty, it may be theproblem although I have not found this to be true on Dell printers. If you remove the color cartridge and reinstall it the reading will indicate its full (even though it isn't. This may solve the problem.

Ink problems....

Take all carts out of the machine. Have a look into the cart holder. Is there ink swapping beneath the white plastic? (You might shake the machine ;-)

If yes, the cart holder leaks and needs replacement.

If not (your lucky!) it could be that the automatic cleaning procedure which starts when a cart is changed has soaked the carts empty.

Do set machine with date and time and NEVER unplug NOR use a power switch which breaks the power supply.

Do use constant power and switch off machine by pressing stand-by-fax-button!

Everytime when machine comes to (new) power contact it runs an extensive ink cleaning procedure. thats why your carts are always near empty....
The stand-by will prevent this and machine does some cleaning procedures which consumes only a few drops(!) of ink!

The display asks you if you have changed the carts. Do answer this question by pressing 1 for YES or 2 for NO.
This will reset the built-in inkcountermanagement to the correct settings
