No spark Briggs & Stratton model 92902 manual wated. have no spark and want to repiar my fatghers mower who past away!!!!!!

If you have no spark and a good plug then you have a bad magnito it is what your plug wire comes from and it is mounted next to your fly wheel or fan the part that the pull cord is attached to it creates the spark every time the maganets on the flywheel pass it it could also be out of adjustment also it needs to be very close to wheel without touching it i would try and adjust it first loosen the screws on the magnito and slide a piece of high quality printer paper between the wheel and magnito then tighten it down then pull your paper out if you can not then you need to move magnito back more you want the paper snug in there but able to pull it out now after doing this spin the whell around and make sure there is no touching between parts now check for spark oh make sure magnito is not to far away if you can slip a buisness card between the two you are to far apart if you still have no spark replace magnito but check the plug wire first make sure it is good good luck briggs are good motors you should be able to get part s without trouble also
