Also it will stay on untill you turn it off. I never have had any problems with it shutting off by itself or turning it off normaly. Just turning it on.

Sounds like a cold solder joint.
Heat makes the components expand, and then make contact. After cooling - the joint retracts, and contact is no longer made.

I would first do a cursory inspection of the power supply. However, Solid State repairs are never recommended unless you are properly trained - as there are potentially lethal amounts of energies stored inside that MUST be discharged before attempting any repair.

A good TV repair shop should be able to look over the board and have it repaired in less than 1 hour.
Between $50 and $75 is a good high estimate.

Thanks for using FixYa!!

Most television have a automated temperature control system. If the TV is below a certain degree it might not turn on do to the fact that it might malfunction because of the low temperature. Nothing is wrong with your TV, its just working perfectly fine

It could only be a bad fuse. Check the main fuse of the TV if it's slightly burned. Replacing that can fix the issue. If the power light keeps blinking, that's a fuse problem. If you can take it to the nearest electronic repair center, it wont cost you that much to fix it.

The temperature sensor is located in front of the radiator on the passenger side. Replacements cost approx $25.00.

No 120v to fan motor

It sounds as if this may have electronic controls on it. If so, the problem could be related to too low of an ambient temperature or too low humidity in the air. If this design has a temperature sensor built into it, you may be experiencing "hibernation mode", where the unit will appear to be dead, when it is actually awaiting the proper temperature to employ itself.
The following statement is a parameter for all dehumidifiers and some of the control issues may vary, but the theory is the same.

Most dehumidifiers have a "Frost Guard" mounted on the condensor coil. If frost accumulates on the condensor coil the frost guard turns the compressor off until the frost melts, then comes back on again. For the dehumidifier to work properly, the surrounding (ambient), temperature must be higher than 65 degress. This temperature allows the moisture in the air to condense on the coils and drip into the reservoir without freezing up on the condensor coil. Also, if the humidity is too low, (below 45%), the same condition will occur. So it will help to keep the parameters in mind when you have this issue.

Thank you for your allowing me to advise you on this issue.

If your model does not employ a "Frost-Guard" the condition you describe will avail itself when the above parameters are not met.
Simply unplug, or turn off the unit, until the above parameters are met or exceeded.
