Binoculars got wet What now

Put your binocs in a big bag of dry rice. Leave them alone for a day or two. The moisture should go to the rice, but you may have deposits (the stuff in the water) on the lens, inside, where you can't clean the lens. Not much help can I give you there. Maybe contact the manufacturer.

My MP3 player fell in a lake. Is it possible it will ever work again? I feel horrible about this. Thank you

I think you need to fully dry it out before you attempt to use it. If the lake was very dirty, it *might* be better to rinse with clean water, but I'm not sure.

If you can partially dismantle it first, that will probably help it to dry.

http://www.labnol.org/gadgets/ipod/drop-mobile-phone-ipod-water-fix-iphone/2707/ suggests putting it in a bowl of rice, which will tend to absorb moisture.

Good luck

Some how moisture got into the inside of my Orion 9326 binoculars. How do you removed the 100 mm lens?

You don't, a service guy will! Unless you are proficient in the removal and cleaning of such equipment you are only inviting trouble. There are many servicing agents around the world who can repair this type of fault. The question I'd ask is how did the moisture get in there in the first place and how long ago? Mould can take hold very quickly and destroy coatings, so the sooner you take action the better.

Lens fogged up on inside of bausch and lomb elite

there's been some sort of breach in your casing. either a crack in a les, or maybe in the housing, perhaps it was dropped. if you can't take it apart and dry out all the moisture, you'll probably have to have it replaced.

Dropped binoculars now they will not adjust (double vision)

Hi,

One of the lenses or the mirror has been jolted loose. Back to the manufacturers with them to see what the repair cost will be.. Not sure if it would be cheaper to replace them but see what the estimate is..
I wouldn't be keen to go inside them in case you let in dust or moisture.

I have condensation/moisture in one of the two lenses of my Nikon Action 7x15x35 binoculars

Nikon Action binoculars are not meant to be 'waterproof'. They give the specification to the Chinese factories to construct the bincular to the retail price point. The higher the cost the more features. Water can damage the inside of a binocular as the contaminants in water can cause fungus to grow. Once that happens the glass lenses or prisms are damaged.

You can try to dry them near a warm air source such as blow heater on warm not hot over a period of time. This will help evaporate the moisture. It will not help if fungal bacteria has started to form.

Depending on the use that caused the influx of moisture you may have a warranty claim.

Moisture out of binoculars I accidently left my binoculars outside and it rained. Now I have moisture in one of the lens. How do I remove this?

Hi,

Not sure what make/model you have.. mostly though it's less hassle to have them stripped and repaired by the manufacturer. moisture can be a real problem if it's not sorted properly..
