If this one has the drain on the back wall at the bottom take a piece of wire and run in the hole If it is at the to in back take small cup loose and do same with the wire. pour a little beach water through drain if possible.trace out drain hose and blow it out if need be. watch you don't blow it out on food. May want to use a shop vac to **** it out. rag to fill in around hose works for me. upper end could also be froze. good luck.

Why do water accumulate at the bottom of my fridge under the vegetable tray?

If your refrigerator is frost-free, the water accumulates during the defrost cycle and should drain through a tube at the bottom into the evaporator pan underneath. The tube may be clogged or broken.

Can't clean out spilled (and now sour) milk spill

Hi, I'm not familiar with these fridges, but is it possible to access it from the back, underneath the evaporator tray? It could even be that the milk has gone down the drain hole and into the evaporator tray itself. Its a small flat plastic tray that has raised sides, and will probably have water in in, sits just above the motor

Water accumulates at the bottom under the veg tray inside the refrigerator. I checked tray under the freeze, it's dry. why it's not draining there? How is it coming inside ?

The drain in the freezer behind back lower panel
needs opening. You can see it at the bottom of the back panel
underneath the evaporator coils. (The cold coils)
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
When the defrost melts the water it goes down the drain
If the drain is clogged with Ice or ? The defrost water
overflows into the ref. or freezer or on floor
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

Your model must also have an evaporator on the top section because if the fresh food section deli has water below the trays you either have a door seal leak allowing moisture in or the fresh food section evaporator drain is also blocked. I really think your defrost drain is blocked and now everytime your refrigerator goes into defrost the condensate remains inside your refrigerator. Click Here=> Leaking Refrigerators Just What may Be Happening and read that page and then click here=> Leaking Refrigerators Read over all of the different ways leaks happenn and if this solution is helpful please rate the solution because I need all the rate's I can get. Whirlpool fridge freezer on top. leaking water on the bottom shelves and out on the floor

Hi

Either your ice maker line is leaking somewhere, or your evaporator tray underneath has a hole in it. How much water are we talking about? If its small nuisance, it's probably the latter.

Please check a complete guide regarding leaking of refrigerator. Hope you will be able to troubleshoot your problem and get an in-depth knowledge related to your issue.

Water leaking underneath the appliance

It can be that the deforst tray is overflowing due to excessive frosting of the auto defrost.
So look into the rear bottom and remvoe tray to drain out.
If this is not he case then a possible leak inthe defrosting tray on the evaporator.

Water on the floor underneath refrigerator bottom freezer

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer. If this repeatedly happens with yours, you may can prevent it by taking a bare copper wire and wrap it around a fin near the heater and put the other end a few inches down the drain. The heat convection may prevent it from freezing.

OK, You need to unplug for a hour or so. Remove the rear panel in back of freezer to expose the evaporator coils. At the bottom of the evaporator there is a tray that catches the defrost water to take it through the back and down to the condensate tray located near compressor and condenser fan. Most likely you have ice or something trapped in that drain beginning in the freezer. I have heard some people turn the freezer temperatures so cold ice will form before the water can drain. If you still have problem contact me. If this helped vote or rate me. Thanks Sea Breeze
