Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Speaker connection for LG W2053TX monitor

This model of monitor does not come with speakers. In fact very monitors have speakers. You will need separate speakers for sound. Some monitors do come with external speakers which hook onto the monitor at the sides but they are still connected to the PC via a lead with a 2.5mm stereo plug into the sound output..

Speakers do not work; no sound

You need to download your soundcard drivers and install it. Go to your device drivers and if you see any red X then there is a problem with that driver.

One speaker is MUCH louder than the other

It sound like you have a break in the main wire from the computer sound card to your speaker amp OR the plug is not plug in completely plugged in all the way. Try some other speakers or ear buds / head phones to isolate sound card problem or speaker problem.

Platinum JBL Series Speakers

as far as I know the speakers itself don't need drivers. I use em myself for years. The problem could be 2 things, 1: is the power still plugged into the speakers (from the monitor)(check both sides). 2: if you where removing any files from your computer it might be possible that you removed some drivers that came with your mainboard or audiocard.

Centre speaker

Your center speaker is probably busted since you say you here an odd popping noise from it. You will need to get a new center speaker. It is not your sound card unless the same happens if you buy a new center speaker.

Speakers hissing/humming

Hi Nate41
you won't do anithyng
may be is a bad resistor inside, that get hot and probably start to do this problem. try disconecting the speakers, and move to other place, more cooler, and try to see if you don't get the hissing and humming sound now. sometimes dust and hot places get to this problem.
beside that, may be a path to a problem.
