43UWX10B will not turn on

Originally, the television turned itself off when I was watching it. It was a clear day with no thunder or lightning. When I try to turn the unit on, the red power button on the front of the set flashes 1 or 2 times, and then stops flashing; but will not turn on.

Convergence IC's are common failures with these units. If you are handy with a soldering iron and have knowledge of electronics you could possibly be able to fix it yourself. If not do not attempt it. The most common number on the ICs is, STK392-110,or STK392-120, or
STK392-150. Their are two of them and I recommend to replace the as a pair.
