Radio will not recognize cable connected to the aux port. When in standby, there is no option to activate the aux port. When on, AUX does not show on the SRC rotation.
SOURCE: I can't use my ipod.. pressed SCR and only tuner and standby is displayed
Yes i had a very similar problem.
I have the MP-235. I could not edit my clock, my subwoofer settings werent active, and I could not switch to AUX.
If you have these problems, you have to hold down the menu button (bass boost) to enter the menu. then scroll around, turn AUX on, change the clock, etc etc.
You turn demo mode off the same way. Kinda silly how they have it all set up.
Hope that helps anyone in the future. i just wasted 3 hrs with this crap!

SOURCE: aux problem
You have to go into the standby menu and turn aux on. Go to standby, push menu button and scroll down to aux and turn on
SOURCE: i cannot get my kdc mp235 to got to aux mode.
if i remember correctly it is the FM button, or spinning the volume knob, once you have found the AUX, the kenwoods are really wierd. sopmetimes you have to push and hold the volume knob in the toggle the settings. (like the demo mode)
