Where can I find a demo of the program Cakewalk Music Creator version 5?

I found a page where you can download a demo, but it looks as if the demo's are specific to the tutorials being presented. Hopefully, this will be what you need.

Stuttering during audio playback in Sonar

The stuttering is caused by excessive CPU usage, in other words: you have too little CPU power to play the file with the inserted synth smoothly. You could try inserting a different synth or play with the rendering-options of the synth (like disabling aliasing, etc.) or increase the audio buffer size (under audio options ?), but the only longterm solution is upgrading to a much faster computer.

Even when you find some tweak which lets you play the file (just) smoothly, adding another effect or synth is likely to cause it to stutter again, since your computer doesn't meet the official (!) minimal requirements for running Cakewalk Sonar 6, which is at least a Pentium 4 1.3GHz computer (and you have a 1.0GHz computer).

I would recommend upgrading your computer to something which at least meets the "recommend requirements" of Cakewalk Sonar 6, which is a Pentium 4 2.8GHz or newer (like any Intel Core 2 system), when you're serious about composing music.

if you do not have the installation disk you are out of luck, unless you can borrow some ones, removal of operating systems is reletively easy, to need to know which one your are currently connected with, going to the start menue and run the folowing click run, type %windir% and click ok, write down the folder that is open, do not touch that folder if you want to keep that operating system, otherwise your dead, go to microsoft website its all there for you to download and follow the directions, not to hard at all. good luck

No sound on my computor

Right click my computer and choose properties then device manager

Look for anything yellow or has a yellow highlight or a ?
that means its eighter damaged or has a problem

you need to reinstall the drivers there are many ways to do this here are the easy 2
1.) you main board came with a driver cd, insert the cd, install the drivers then restart
2.) if you cant find the cd, download a program like driver magician and install that program, it can detect and install your drivers for you automatically.

are that restart

verify that you have the correct device selected
1.) click start, all programs, windows media player
2.) click tools , options, devices
3.) click refresh and select the propper device ( speakers e.g)
4.) you can try different ones until you get one that works

If all the above fails you many need to reformat your computer, backup everything before attempting to do this,

1.) boot from a windows XP CD or insert in in the compuer
2.) follow the onscreen instructions to install it
3.) reinstall all drivers using any of the above described methods
4.) reinstall all your software
