Me and my boyfirend bought a new nokia 6288 today and we were loading files from our old phones to our new ones when suddenly our phones turned off so we tried to turn them on but now they just go to the nokia screen then flash a few times and then turn them selfs off please help!!!!!
Try this method for common N6288 bug. Remove your batteries, while
charger is unplugged. Remove the SD memory card from the phone and
clean it's gold/copper contacts with an eraser and then wipe it clean.
Put the battery back in the phone without the memory card. It should
turn back on, after it successfully turns on, put the memory card back
in.
If it continually happens, the memory card is damaged, or
you need a firmware upgrade for the phone, but I still think it's the
memory card.
Well some Nokia 6288 have known fault when accessing the memory card. Usually the fault happens either when theres too low battery and then recharged and it also happens after recharging.
The device automatically reads the sd slot just before booting thats why some 6288 will work after removing the battery, then removing the memory card, putting in the battery and fully recharge once again, without the memory card. After that the system boots itself up once again,. I have several serviced 6288 with this same problem, and have found this process to solve the problem. Maybe your phone problem is different, so don't say my answer is inappropriate... I know nokia phones from front to back, we are trained for it...

recharge it for 24 hours..becuase when i first got it, i kept playing on it and it over powered?

ok see budy ur handset is nokia s40 and it supports 3gp and mpeg formats, anything accept this will not work on ur handset, there is a software called"platovideo to 3gp" serach in google, u will get this easilytry this software dear.
