Do you mean plugging in the air conditioner? If so first check the plug and see if it has a saftey GFI test and reset button, if it does press the reset button. Go from there.

Everstar mpm2-10cr-bb6 will not reset on power cord. light on reset doesn't light. seems like no power is getting to the unit.

Check the outlet that the unit is plugged into, to be sure that it is in fact, working. The circuit breaker in your home's circuit breaker panel for that outlet, may have tripped. Also, the outlet may have interior damage or a loose wire connection. If the unit seems not to be getting power, one of the above is the problem. Try plugging the unit into another outlet in a different room.

Hope this helps you troubleshoot and solve the problem.

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. One thing I can suggest is try plugging the air conditioner into a surge protector.

Window unit air conditioner

Sounds like a full cleanning job or the drain line is plugging up. First , check for A 10* lean toward the back of the unit for proper drainnage, 2- check for good air flow thru the front coils--(dirty filter --dirty coil and last ,add some clorox bleach all across the front coil while off>)
