THE RED BUTTON FLASHES RAPIDLY

I guess it's the metal part in the water tank that makes contact with the machine when the water runs out. When you take the water tank off the Senseo it's in the bottom right corner. If you can't repair it, a spare water tank isn't that expensive.

Water stored inside unit

put unit upside down, for a longer period, or, get the container filled with water, or water and vinegar, and let it run a few times.
Pushing both one + two cup buttons should make it run at once, do get a large container under it

The add water light keeps flashing when the container is full of water

Hi,
The float on the side of the container is stuck in the down position, giving the machine a false reading of the water level... get the float, floating again...

I live in a limestone area and the flow through my Senseo coffee maker is slowly reducing. How should I descale it?

Believe it or not, vinegar is a blessing for cleaning nearly anything out of your coffee maker.

Fill your water reservoir 1/4th full with vinegar, then fill it the rest of the way up with water.

Run the coffee maker, then let it sit for about 10 minutes. Pour the mixture back in to the reservoir and run it again. Let it sit another 10 minutes.

Dump the mixture and use plain water this time. Let it sit for another 10 minutes. Dump the water, then repeat with clean plain water.

Wash the filter basket and pot with hot soapy water. If the vinegar smell is still present, just run it again with plain clean water.

Light keeps flashing and water will not heat

there is a float at the side of the machine by the water level, if the float gets stuck the red light will continue to flash even though water is present. Use a magnet on the outside of the machine by the water and float level and raise the float when connected to the magnet and the light will stop flashing red rapidly

Senseo 7814 does not heat water and red light keeps flashing

is the red light flashing as though not enough water, if so use a magnet to connect to the valve inside the machine, the valve can be found along the water level where the float is. what is happening is that the float is stuck. by connecting the magnet to the valve and very slowly moving the magnet along the water level, upwards the valve will follow and the water will begin to heat as the light changes to a slow flash, if it doesn't work try again as you have not connected to the magnet
