Screen is horizontal and a Mirror image

Mirror solution can be achieved by the position of inserted paper in the machine's tray.
Reference is printing in the latter head.

Launch the Picasa application using the desktop or Start menu shortcut icon. Use the folder structure on the left side of the window to locate the image that you want to modify, and then double-click the image to open the editing interface.

Press and hold the "Ctrl" key.

Press and hold the "Shift" key.

Press "H" to flip the image horizontally.

Click the "Back to Library" button at the top of the screen to return to the image library. Picasa remembers the changes to the image automatically.

Panasonic Viewfinder - Mirror image:
Although I don't own a Panasonic, my Samsung and JVC camcorders have this flipped image function, so I guess most are similar in theory.
The mirror image is a function used for taking selfies, or where you want the subject to frame themselves while previewing the image on-screen.
This only affects the viewfinder screen, not the saved video or still, which remains as normal.
To correct this, you need to navigate to the 'settings' menu, exact location depending flavor of camera.
There should be an option for "self-portrait" mode or similar.
Switch this back to normal mode.
Why mirrored?
When screen is rotated 180 degrees to face subject in normal mode, they would see an inverted image, so the "selfie" function flips the graphic to compensate.

go to your image and right click on it, click on "preview" once the preview screen is open look at the row of options (I"m assuming windows 7 op system here, but you can do this with XP too). anyway.look for the option "open" along the top, a row of choices will appears, choose "Paint" when paint opens you can see on the left an option to rotate, or flip your image, choose flip horizontal and you will now have the reverse image, save it to someplace you can find it and then it will print as you wish (reversed).

I have an MP490 and I have searched for any way to do that, but have failed. Most HP printers have a mirror image option when you go to print. I cannot find one on the MP490.

I also searched the help manual and didn't even get one return for a search for "mirror".

One possible way is to scan the document to a jpg image and then open the document on a photo editor and do a flip horizontal if you have that option. Save it, then print it.

you can actually use any graphics program to apply mirror effects. It is usually under rotate ie. go to Paint which is under programs, applications. add a picture and go to rotate and rotate horizontally and you have a mirror image.

Mine unlocked using the last four digits of my phone number.

There are many ways to do this.
What I do is, IF you got a bit advance program like Office its as easy as 123, just select the text and Flip it Horizontally.
And If you haven't got any Office like tool just open the text you have written and want to print, and Hit the print screen button (On the keyboard).
Now open Paint, and press Ctrl+v you will see the screen pasted there, just select the portion you want to flip.
Now press Ctrl+r , select flip horizontally and print.

If you are using PowerPoint 2007, here is how you can accomplish this:
Select the text, Then right click and select Format Shape, Then select 3-D Rotation, then change the X value to 190 degrees.
In PowerPoint 2003, you can't create mirrored text,, you can however use WordArtto create a graphic image of text that you can mirror by using the Rotate or Flip command.
To create mirrored text with WordArt, follow these steps:

1. On the Drawing toolbar, click Insert WordArt.
2. In the WordArt Gallery, select the WordArt style that is closest to the effect that you want to use, and then click OK.
3. In the Edit WordArt Text dialog box, type the text that you want.
4. Click OK.
5. Use the tools on the Drawing and WordArt toolbars to format the text the way that you want.
6. On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, point to Rotate Or Flip, and then click Flip Horizontal.

You will see a mirror image of your text.
