Question about EliteGroup P4M800-M7 Motherboard

Problem with my mobo

I have a P4M800-M7 V1.0 mobo.recently my brother had a problem on switch1 in the mobo,he took all the wires from there,for the power & reset switch/h.d.d led but return it on the wrong my mobo is dead,i have return all the wires on their right pins but still wont work.will it damage the bios?i've tried replacing the ram and power supply.

Are you sure the wires are on the right pins.
No it wont hurt the bios, but power may of fried something,
But thats rare.

here is the pins. #1 is lower left.

Elite group P4M800-M7 Can i use 2GB 667 / 800 ddr2????

I have p4m800-m7 also and i cant seem to get both sticks to work.....I still have only 1 gig with both sticks i have 2 DDR-2 1Gig sticks PC2-5300 533 mhz

Yes, according to the specs that I read the P4M800-M7 (socket 775?) is designed to support pc333.

Only one time I had a problem with an ECS motherboard, I had the correct memory, but the board had a different voltage requirement. Did not cause any issues, other than it didn't work. I don't think that this would be a problem for you though.

P4M800-M7 presumed memory problem

I have never had a problem with Mobo's supporting 2 GB of memory.

As per the website your mobo supports 2 GB memory.
