Question about HP Computers & Internet
To determine if you have a provlem with the LCD screen or the video card, connect an external monitor to the laptop's video port and power up the monitor first and then the laptop. The video will divert automatically to the external monitor. If you get a normal Windows image on the monitor then the fault is with the LCD screen, if not then the fault is a faulty video card.
Get back to me with the results of this test.
