Question about Jandy Aqualink Rs4 One Touch Control System Control System
We had a power outage and the solar panels disappeared from the display. I can get the valve to open properly when I press "Solar" on the main panel, but on the Aqualink it doesn't even show up.
I assume one of the labels (most like the "Extra Aux") has just reset and no longer says solar, but when I try any of these it doesn't switch the solar valve -- although the valve itself opens when the pump comes on.
Diagnostics says the solar sensor is opened -- so I assume it has failed (I've replaced sensors on both the air and pool many times in the past. Sigh). But that doesn't explain to me why I can't get the valve to open (or even show up) on the Aqualink. Or does it?
So... I guess what I'm asking is, will replacing the sensor in the solar panel resolve all of this? (The solar sensor is one I really can't replace myself, since it's on the roof and I'm an old man).
Well the old man said it replace the solar sensor but not need to be on the roof just make sure it get sun rays sh is a secret.
