I have three laptops connected via a wireless router. A few days ago the power went during a print job. Now I can?t print from this laptop, the other two work fine. All settings are correct. The box comes up that says printing started printing complete but nothing happens. I am running Windows Vista. I am using Linksys broadband router. I have uninstalled and re installed the software twice. Still nothing. I have model X4530.

Tablet connected to Wifi but does access websites

It looks like the wireless part of your wireless router is damaged.
If your friend's wireless computer/laptop cannot detect a wireless signal from your wireless router then this confirms the wireless fault.

My laptop won't connect via wireless, and can't even find the network. It used to work fine until a few days ago. I have a netgear DG834G router

You will need to check the wireless settings of the router
is there any computer connected to the router ?
If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer.
Router set up page is the page where you can check all the wireless settings of the router.

2701HG-B lights went out and then power died

I've had good luck with that same 2wire router, but Att is right, the ethernet & internet lights should stay on. Have you tried moving the ethernet connector to a different port on the router? If they're going out, some component inside is failing, but it could be specific to that one port, and you may be able to use another without a problem. (Just a thought.)
You can contact 2wire support directly from here, if you choose.
And there's a full user's guide with some troubleshooting options and diagnostic tools available (to some subscribers) here.
But it sounds like it may be time for a new router...

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

TEW432-BRP Trendnet wireless broadband router wont connect

Sounds like you need to configure the PC's USB wireless adaptor. The settings must be the same as the router. If you use a WEP password on the other connections then you need to have the same password on the USB wireless adaptor. Good Luck.

I have a brother mfc wireless printer 7840w. It came with an install cd that I am trying to install it on my laptop - hp windows vistas. during the install there are three options - one is usb, ethernet,...

ok this is not fiewall issue your printer did not or you did not configure this correctly

you have to first install this using USB cable that came with it .... important .... do not connect printer first ... install you software first and it will ask you to connect your printer

once you install this you will have an option assign IP addrress to your printer

once you configure your printer with DHCP or static IP you are good to go

go to your printer setup and add your printer via either IP address or the name you gave when you configured your printer

good luck
