There are two causes.
one the problem is in your software. basically its saying that your wireless chip is disengaged. meaning you need to go to the control pannel and double-click(dc) the system icon. click the hardware tab at the top of the window that opened then click the button that says "device manager" in there somewhere should be the driver that goes with your wireless. find it and dc it. another window will open. from there you can troubleshoot the problem if need be or simply check that the device/driver is turned on according to the hardware. if all that fails or u don't want to do that first just right click the little icon down the right side of your toolbar on the desktop and you should be able to click "repair". if neither work then you have a serious problem. hope this helps

The illumination switch won't shut off

First check the dimmer switch and make sure it is not turned all to way to the right or left ? The dimmer switch controls how bright your meter lights are, but if you turn it to the far left or right it will activate the interior lights and will stay on regardless. Other than that it could be a bad door switch, some back lights also have a 3 way switch, one way makes the light stay on all the time, the other position has the lights off no matter if the door or dimmer switch is on. The middle position work only when a door or back latch is open, then goes off when closed, hope this helps ?

Front parking lights stay on on my 03 a4 audi why

I know some German cars have a "feature" where if you pull the light switch out the whole way, it activates the built in fog lights. I believe in Germany, this is a law, that cars must have this feature. I also believe that if you have this pulled out the whole way, regardless of key position, the lights stay on always. Try ensuring that the light switch is pushed in as much as can be done. Hope this helps.

1994 del sol turned off ignition and brake lights stay on

Brakes lights work regardless of ignition position. Check the brake light switch (behind brake pedal). Could be stuck in on position.

1998 escort zx2 dome light stays on when switch is set for door; all other indicators, chime for key in ignition etc seem OK. Light works normally in switch on and off positions.

It should stay on for about 30 seconds and go off. Otherwise, the car is 11 years old, so find a switch position which does not drain the battery.

My existing bathroom light switch is shorting out. i replaced it with a new switch replacing the wires in the exact order they were taken off. the light now stays on regardless of the position the switch...

hey if the the switch installed has only two connection one the ON and other the OFF

so get a tester and check for a the phase wire i.e the wire with current.... and see to it it dosent touches the wire which goes to the light ..if it touches its shot and your light is always on.....

so please check that it dosent touches each other before fixing and after fixing in the wall unit....and there may be also some wire in side which makes it ti touch eachother .......

I have tried 3 fresh, new batteries

What is the exact model of wireless mouse you have? You may have a laser wireless mouse, which may not emit any visible light. The red light on other wireless mice are either a different optical mouse technology, or a red light for the purpose of being pretty. Not all wireless mice have a red light that you can see. Does the mouse work (regardless of the light)? Have you hit the connect button? Have you connected the wireless receiver to a working USB port?

My motorola H700 keeps staying red when charging

Wait, how long have you waited for it to charge? It's supposed to stay red until over 80% charge, then switch to yellow. When it is fully charged, it goes to green. When you mean it stays red when plugged in, have you waited the 2 hours?
