many machine spin a full tub as they are pumping the water out
this helps to even out the washing load and reduce the unbalance situation
when the water is removed , the machine progresses the program to a high speed spin

When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem: It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

Behind the washer is a plastic hose that enter the drain.Make sure that nothing is pinching it closed. You can also use drain cleaner in the drain but not in the machine.

Sounds like siphoning. This can happen if your drain pipe is too low and you run the drain hose right into it, or if there isn't any kind of air gap between the drain hose and pipe. Usually it shows up when trying to fill for the rinse cycle - it drains as fast as it fills. Or it might not fill at all. Order a "siphon break kit". They're cheap and easy to install

LG WM3677 - clothes are soaked after dry cycle

It is usual for the pump to keep running throughout the spin cycle and for some minutes afterwards to ensure as much water as possible is extracted. What you say confirms that the machine is empty of water at that point.

The question is where is the water coming from and I can think of only two possible answers - either it is coming from the supply or for whatever reason, it is syphoning in or being drawn into the machine from the drain. The latter should be impossible if an air-break is included in the drain but it is theoretically possible if not. My daughter recently found after she emptied her sink she was slowly filling her washer due to a blocked wastepipe.

Assuming the water is coming from the supply, it can only enter the machine if the supply solenoid valve is leaking or if it is being energised by the controller. I suspect if the controller is energising the solenoid valve during the drying cycle it is either faulty or extremely misguided.
I suggest testing the theory by temporarily disconnecting the valve after the final spin but before the drying cycle begins. If the laundry is dry it indicates the controller and if it is wet (with clean fresh water) it is likely to be the solenoid.

When I begin a load of clothes the water will not stay in the machine. It just flows out & never fills the machine enough to begin the wash cycle.

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE DRAIN HOSE IS TOO LOW. IT SHOULD BE HIGHER THAN THE TOP OF THE TUB, OTHERWISE THE WATER WILL JUST GO DOWN THE DRAIN.

Washer stopped at begin of wash cycle

The problem seems to lie in the rubber backed mat. If the rubber has begun to peel of the mat it often-times get stuck in the drain pump. The best thing to do at this point is to disconnect the electrical cord, open up the machine, drain out the water as best as possible disconnect the power cord to the drain and the hoses. Clean out the drain pump. reassemble. You should be good to go., Unless the drain pump is burned out (left running plugged up too long) if thats the case, replacement of the pump may be neccessary.... Hope this helps...Good luck!.... Washer keeps filling w/ water, only stops when changed to spin

Your drain line is too low.
OR the drain line is restricting air where it enters the drain stand pipe.
Remove the drain line and hold it up high.
Turn the washer on to fill. It should fill then stop.
This example should explain what you must do to correct the drain line problem.

Admiral Washer smells like mildew

yes it could . If you are trying to pump the water 7 feet or more above the floor then it will at the end of the cycle get air into the drain hose causing cavatation, the result when the machines stops is the water running back down the drain hose back into the tub and that is what causes the musty smell.
Lower the drain if possible
