Question about Shanling CDT-100
Hi my shanling cdt-100 which i bought second hand has an audible disc spinning sound which you can hear at low volume levels, is this normal? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, i believe the unit is unmodded.
many thanks in advance gary
I had the same problem... if it's mechanical... this is the solution....under the lid is a free floating magnet clap which centers and sits on top of the dics when the lid is closed. This rides to low when the lid is down and rubs on the inside lip of the lid which prevents the clap from falling out... solution... cut a piece of scotch tape the same size (circle) as the inside magnet surface of the clap... stick it on...now the clap with magnetic clap as before but will be a few 1000ths higher...mike
