Question about Toshiba SD R2312 CD-RW/DVD-ROM (Combo) Burner
The CD ROM drive isn't recognized at boot time.
In the start-up menue there is no "*" preceeding the drive as is the case with the floppydrive and the HDD.
You haft to activate thru bios when you first turn on puter hit either delete button or f1-f8 buttons to get to bios then read directions on right goto cd then set to auto also check that its plugged in properly also you can try to clean connections use can compressed air to clean connections(walmart sells)in bios set to auto then save!Best of Luck to You!!!
