Re boot in safe mode and run 'restore point' from the search box. Select a date/time just before the problem update happened. That will reset your date/time to before the update.

You will need to reinstall the OS as there is errors in your OS. hence when it is started the program files are being checked as it is missing. The memory is trying to register but without any link or backup as it might have errors. Possible virus in the system . So reinstall OS, format drive and then install a good antivirus, Then install the PC drivers .
Make sure you keep the PC upto date with the maintenance schedules.

Stuck on updating screen...

Hi,
do a system restore and restore it back to a previous date in time, but doing a system restore to a previous date in time will mean that you will loose any configuration done or any software installed after that date
for system restore for windows xp here is a helpfull llink
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084

for windows vista
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial143.html

restore your system to a date when you are certain that it was working fine and nect time it prompts to load updates choose custom and select and install only security updates which are very necessary not all of them.

Further Queries are welcome

Stuck on the updating screen

Reboot your computer and when the message appears at the desktop that there are updates available, click on the link to see what updates are available. Make sure any third-party antivirus and firewalls are disabled. Uncheck any that are "Optional" unless you really think your system needs them. Try installing those that are critical/important first, and leave the rest for afterwards.

Kitchenaid KAWS750JQ3 Top Load Washer

hi there,

make sure that the program is not on the "Intermittent Agitate Program". that would be the cause of the delay.

the other issue would be the timer itself. the timer is mechanical, so once the contact on it is corroded, it will only function intermitently or not at all.

please let me know if i can be of more help.

thanks
