had the unit for less than two years and it started icing up and not collecting water. got a frigidaire unit and am much happier. i still have the unit.. is it even worth getting repaired??? whats the typical cost?

Dehumidifiers must be operated in an environmental temperature of 65 degrees of greater. If that condition is met and it still freezes up, the other possibility might be the fan that moves the air over the coils has frozen up and needs replaced. If it is that simple, then repair it, otherwise it's more that the cost of a new dehumidifier.
