Question about Uniden Bearcat Pro PC68XL 40-Channels Base CB Radio
I have a uniden grant xl, a midland 4001 and a uniden bearcat pc68xl and all their manuals say the output power is 4 watts for AM but all of them only give about 2 watts output power. why do their manuals was 4 watts the they give only 2 watts. i also have a nasa72gx-II that says 10 watts of input power but gives only 7 watts of output.
Most cb's are eazy to open and tune. There are many sites that will give you the info. With a little time and brain power its eazy
or send it to a tec. If you need a tec. Ill do the align & tune cheep. email@example.com

What brand of watt metter are you using?
Most all of them can be adjusted inside.
I have seen a 4 watt radio key 9 watts on some
meters.I have a two-way shop for over 25 years
mostly VHF an UHF but I cut my teath on CB.
Maybe this will help
