I get a faint gray line down the left margin of the paper when printing on my Aficio CL35000N. This just started happening and I cannot determine why or how to fix it

Is this while copying as well as printing? Is it on all colors as well?

The faint grey line is probably from teh fuser belt being worn you can check this by going to rear of printer open up door and look at the surface of the fusing roller it probably has a build up of toner or worn belt thais makes the lines sometimes.. if the fuser is clean you need to open up the side door and look at the drum and transfer belt sections.. Good Luck

Why am I getting vertical Yellow lines on my printing?

It sounds like the laser drum is damaged and not collecting toner correctly. First try cleaning the paper path with laser cleaning paper. If that doesn't sort the problem replace the drums.

Hi Ricoh 1232 copier and printer. Both copies and prints are produced as if the paper feed was slightly delayed and the print moves over about an inch: effect is you have a large margin on the left side...

Is the paper in the tray landscape-oriented or portrait-oriented? If it's landscape-oriented (short edge is fed first) then you might just need to realign the paper fences. There is a screw holding down the gear in between them -- if you remove that screw you can move the fences so that they're both lined up correctly. (Push them both in all the way or out all the way, then reinsert the gear and screw it back down.)

If the paper is portrait-oriented, it may be an adjustment that will have to be made by a Ricoh service technician. It is a simple adjustment to make, and should only take a minute or two if you can have a tech look at it.

Brother MFC-6800 1. Prints with 3/8" blank vertical line down the entire page; 2. Prints with a couple of 1/16" blank vertical lines down the entire page; 3. Prints with some gray shadow...

This solution is unconventional but it worked for me. The black roller on my MFC had irregularities on it and was creating horrible printouts. I pulled out the drum and cartridge and cleaned the large black roller. I used furniture polish to make the roller very smooth. Now it prints really nice.

My Ricoh Aficio CL2000N is printing several faint lines

Couple possibilities:
Fuser hot belt has wear lines transfering to the page
Black pcu needs to be replaced
Transfer unit is not being cleaned properly and needs to be replaced.
Remove each of these assy and inspect them for wear or lines that corespond to the lines on your prints.

Balck and white streaks on left side of paper

Usually if there are streaks you need to change the pcu that is the same color as the lines. If the streaks are gray it also could be the fuser, but i would think it is the pcu.

Faint Black Lines

Hi best way to check is to remove the black photoconductor and you should be able to see the little lines on it also check the the black dev/toner unit for the lines. most likely to be the black photoconductor unit though.

Thanks J
