Question about Danby DPAC10031 Air Conditioner

1 Answer

Do I need to elevate unit to allow water to be able to drain out of the hose into a sump. The hose has to go over about a 4 to 5 inch ridge to go into the sump and I worry the water will not drain into the sump because of this ridge.

That would be best. water will get high enough to drain if pan is deep enough but make sure the hose is flat. If you get two high or low spots in the hose and trap air between the 2 the water will not drain as it can't force the air through the water. This is called a double trap.

Dishwasher starts program, then few mins in pause/start button flashes "insufficient water supply". Checked all hoses and all clear. Anyone? Thank you. Glen

As soon as the waser begins the wash cycle pause, open door record water level in sump.

Close door and continue cycle until machine faults and stops.

Open door, record water level in sump.

Compare before and after. If level is low that the flapper valve that allows the water to drain is stuck open and the water is draining into the sink as the unit is washing.

To confirm, if the washer drain hose is connect to the neck of the disposal or sink drain, observe the drain after restarting the wash cycle from the beginning. If water is trickling out from the dishwasher while it is washing then it is confirmed the drain door is not closed if equipped with that configuration.

All washers have a process and hardware to drain. Some have a sepperate drain pump

Hope thisd helpd?

Will not drain

The drain hose for the dishwasher needs to exit above the 'P' trap. You also need to elevate the drain hose approx 32 inched up from the floor to create a drop for the water to exit.

Where do i find the model number for an older model goldstar dehumidifier and where can i buy a hose to connect it directly to the sump pump?

Any garden hose will fit the drain connection on your dehumidifier. However, the hose can not be longer than 5 feet. As the drainage relies entirely on gravity to drain. Connecting it directly to a sump pump is not a good solution. Allowing the hose to drain into the sump pump's water collection tank is your only option.

Hope this helped you.

I have a miele w526 wash machine .water leaked out under neath machine and 2 lights on side came on .check inlet and check drain .i turned it off removed clothes and tilted it forward and more water was...

In the bottom of your machine the is a tray in the tray the is a float, if the machine leaks the float lifts and hits a switch activating the two light on the facia. The is a leak either in the machine (sump hose) or around the machine drain etc. By tipping the machine you are emptying the tray thus allow it to work. You will need to find the cause of the leak. My best guess is the sump hose has been damaged by hair clip or pin. You may need to remove front panel to check hose etc.

How do I connect the hose? lost manual

If you asking about the drain hose. There's what looks like a hose hookup on the back of the unit, down near the floor. It's probably plastic and is threaded to accept a garden hose. You may have to carefully knock out the opening of the plastic connector, to allow the water to drain into the connected hose. The hose then should go to a floor drain or sump pump. Keep in mind, the water will not drain up.

Water runs contiuously... tub never fills...cycle doesn't start.

Hi, You need to reset the drain hose. It needs to be over the water level in the machine. If you have it in a sump pump, it needs to be out of the water in the sump. If I can help you further, please let me know

Thanks

turn mach on spin,if you hear the pump turning normally you have a blocked sump.if the pump hums, you have a jammed pump.the pump is located under mach, tilt backwards as far as possible and remove screws on ft of access plate.once plate is removed pump will be on right side either held on by 2 clips or 4 torx screws.the 4 torx screws will split the pump in half and allow you to clean it out.the 2 clip pump cannot be split in half but you can remove the 2 hose clamps and try to remove what is jamming(you have a 50/50 chance of getting item out of this kind of pump).bail out as much water as possible, this mach will still have a huge amount of water in it even after bailing it so have some buckets handy and slowly drain from pump before removing.if there is something stuck in the sump, call a technician.lot more complicated and involves special tools and removing entire basket and u-joint assy..good luck
