there are two fans and one is out of sight and is to cool the casing. normal for the casing fan to run for up to 20mins after switching off. after 4 years, maybe getting a bit worn and hence noisy. nothing to worry about

SOURCE: After cleaning the top half oven with a self-clean

usually it is the thermal cut off( TCO) ,a kind of themal fuse which goes out if the temp exceeds certain limit and cuts off the power to the elemnts.it is to protect the cavity from over heating.it needs to replaced or reset depending the model. u will need a tech to fix this.

My electrolux EOD5330 fan oven tripped a fuse. ow it won't heat. The fan still works

Most likely problem is the the oven element short circuited which caused the fuse to blow. When power is restored everything generally works except for the element. If you check the element you may find a blow hole in it.

Electrolux 30" electric double oven

Some oven elements are "plug-in" style, held in place with spring clips, It is possible that they have dislodged during cleaning. Good luck, Rob

Fan oven is getting much hotter than what the thermostat indicates. Is it the thermostat or the switch

The thermostat controls the oven temp, therefore it is logical to assume that the thermostat is not sensing the temperature properly, so I would fit a new one.
