Hi Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post!

I understand your Frigidaire freezer is leaking and not defrosting; however is water leaking from behind, front or underneath? Also, did you notice any error codes, noises, or other strange functions prior to this issue? With this information I can assist you better in pinpointing the problem.

SOURCE: LEAKS WATER WHERE WATER LINE GOES INTO FREEZER.

An easier fix is to redo the connection. Turn off the tap the supplies water to refrigerator, should be on your cold water line under the sink. Remove not on the solenoid valve(blue valve) slide the nut further up the vinyl tubing cut the tubing above the old connection. push the tubing into valve and tighten nut finger tight. turn the tap on a little and check for leaks at the solenoid. If no leaks open tap all the way. If leak tighten nut a little more only until leak stops. then turn tap on all the way.

SOURCE: Water leaking from underneath. Not currently

This could be a blocked drain.Behind the fridge is a hose/pipe running from the inside of the fridge down to the compressor where the water will then evaporate. If this pipe is blocked, the water will push up back into the fridge.Try to blow the hose clean from inside the fridge. This should solve your problem.

Kenmore refrigerator with a bottom freezer leaks water on floor

Hello Wayne,
You already mentioned the reason for the excess water. When the freezer automatically defrosts itself once every 24 hours the melted water drains down through a tube down to a water pan at the bottom of the refrigerator where it sits and supposedly evaporated by the fan back into the atmosphere. However in your case the excessive dust is preventing the evaporation phase to occur by the fan. You need to vacuum as much of the dust as possible and your problem will disappear.

JENN AIRE LEAKING WATER ON FLOOR. NOT SUPPLY LINE PROBLEM. HELP

Open freezer, remove lower crisper & look for solid ice on freezer floor & area at rear of freezer. If present, defrost drain is restricted. Depending on make & model remove ice, remove rear wall and clear defrost drain trough and drain path. Verify by removing kick panel, pour a cup of near boiling water through drain and watch as it drains into pan. Once clear, pour one ounce of bleach into drain tube. Also check as water is draining into pan that the pan is not leaking due to pan cracks. This solution is based on the fact that you are stating no hoses are bad.

My kenmore freezer stopped working for about two days it had been leaking water for a few months, then it started working again?

It could be that your defrost system is faulty. If the freezer does not defrost now and then it will fill up the cooling fins with ice and get warm. The leaking could also be an indication of two much ice. Did you unplug it when it stopped working and then plug it back in?

Water leak

probably the defrost drain blocked. remove back panel from inside freezer and melt ice off with hairdryer and follow up with hot water till water flows away freely.
you may find all the pipework iced up and if so you have a problem with defrost system.
an alternative way is to switch off for 24 hours and leave doors open

Freezer Defrosting

After a defrost cycle the ice around the evaporator melts, that water goes out and lands in a tray under the refrigerator. But sometimes the tube gets clogged and water spills inside the freezer and if enough water accumulates, it will make it to the floor. To fix this problem look for a small hole inside the refrigerator and open it up using a can of compressed air. Hope this helps

Freezer leaking water

sounds like you have a clogged defrost drain tube. removing back panel of freezer will give you acess to drain trough, melt away the ice with a hair dryer, youll find a drain hole under there somwhere, pouring boiling water down the drain will clear it pretty quickly( i use a steam machine purchased from the infomercials works awesome, after you clear it and all water drain down tube wrap a piece of solid copper wirearound the heater( black calrod heater right above the drain trough) and stick it in the whole maybe an inch or so. now everythime the heater comes on to defrost it will prevent the hole from freezing over
