In my experience, under the flywheel there is a stator and a set of magnets attatched to the flywheel, in most cases, one or more of the magnets are broken and are in direct contact with the stator, if that is the case both must be replaced.

I keep popping 25 amp fuse when trying to start honda GX610 18 hp gas engine on 3100 Stone Wolf pac roller

if the fuse pops when turning to crank position the problem lies within the small solenoid wire to the starter (this wire goes from the ign.switch to the starter solenoid and is powered up when in the start position) this wire is shorted to ground....or the starter solenoid is shorted....best way to tell is unhook wire from solenoid and turn key to start...if the fuse does not pop its the solenoid....do this several times to verify

94 Jetta Diesel Fuse For Heat/Cool Blower Motor Keeps Popping As Soon As Car Is Turned On Even If The Fan Switch Is In Off Position

Could be a bad switch or a ground fault. Unclip the wires(or terminal) from the switch and inspect the plug for a short. Replace the fuse and turn the ignition on with the switch unplugged. If the fuse still pops there is a ground fault somewhere else in the wiring.

I jump start my wifes car at night with the cables backwards

I found that while checking my fuses that i had pulled out what looked like a black plastic "fuse puller" that was actually some kind of jumper. I had accidentally re-installed it reversed. I reversed it back to its original position and all lights, clock, radio, etc.. work normal now.

Accessory fuse keeps blowing, headlight not working

I know this sounds aomewhat general, however please give the following some thought:
Check your relays, if you have an aftermarket horn you may have a different relay. To troubleshoot unplug your headlight, unplug your horn, etc.. Turn your ignition switch to accessory only. See if the fuse pops. If it does unplug whatever added accessories you may have still have plugged in. Once you can get the fuse to stop popping, turn the ignition switch to on. Then one at a time plug you accessory, headlight, etc. back in. When you find what pops the fuse, unplug that item, start plugging in the other items, if the fuse has not popped you have potentially isolated the circuit causing the issue. Now check the wiring for loose connections, bad ground, and CHECK the relay if that item has one. Hope this helps,

1998 plymouth breeze

If you keep popping fuses everytime you try to start the car, you have a bare hot wire grounding out somewhere. That will cause the fuse to pop everytime you turn the key on. the best way to fix it is if you know someone who is good with electrical wires. Have them pull the fuse panel out and follow the wire until they find where the wire is bare. Have them fix that bad spot and that should fix your problem.
