Why will brand new Juicer not switch on?

The spout, itself is hinged. It has two positions, an upper and a lower position. (Similar to a light switch). Make sure it is in it's lowest position when making juice, otherwise the liquid will collect in the inner bowl and leak out the sides of the juicer. Move the spout to the upper position to temporarily stop the flow of juice, such as when you change glasses or receptacles. Then, put the spout in the lower position to resume the flow of juice.

you have to twist the top round so that the switch is pressed in place so the power can be turned on, from new it takes a few times to get it to click in place this is the safety device so it cannot be turned on by mistake.

Boil all stained parts in a big pot with Oxi Clean for a few minutes.
Then scrub. The juicer will look brand new.

However reliable and durable your Juicer is, at one point in time it will need Replacement of parts. It is Great to buy a model from an established brand like Breville, where Juicer parts or accessories for these juicer machines are easily available.

In all juicers there are hidden interlock switches called interlocks for ur protection. Put all the parts properly, so that these switches sense them. then it should work.
