Re: won't let me play my music files

Do you have a subscription with Rhapsody or Napster?

If so, you need to log in for them to update your account, which will solve it.

If not, did you use your own music from CD's? Did you use Windows Media Player to copy the music to the computer? Did you change the default settings in Windows Media Player?

If so, the default settings for WMP are to "copy protect my music", which will give you this error. You will need to change the RIP Music settings in WMP. Tools>Options> un-check the copy protect my music option.

Finally, if you have the "Rhapsody" version, there is pre-loaded music on it that if not deleted, will cause this problem. You can format the device to remove the pre-loaded music, or manually delete it from the System folder.

Please add to the question if that didnt work.

Best of Luck.

I have downloaded audiobooks from library, message to synchronize

Maybe you do need to synchronize. Some websites, require you to synchronize the files before you can play them. It is just their way of locking you down to their rules :D.

Sansa e250 dispyaying synchronize to continue music subscription

If your music has DRM it willonly allow you to sync once. they want you to repurchase the music. Try syncing music that is DRM free. If the new file work that is your problem.

Sansa sandisk mp3 player

It might be that the song you are trying on your MP3 Player is not supported. Check the file type of the music file then check the userguide of your Sandisk.

Can you play WMA's on Sansa Mp3 model e250?

the sansa e250 will play wma files, as per Sandisk.
The problem is you bought them from a download service so there DRM protected.
The easiest way I found to remove them is to use tunebite .
Cost is about $30 or you can find it on P2P sites or newgroups.

The down side is it takes about 14 hours to convert 5 gigs worth of music. But you can then play it on anything.

TIP: convert the files to mp3 not wma so they can be used on practically any player

@szwaan wma stands for "windows media audio"

SanDisk Sansa E260:"synchronize to continue your music acount"(another problem, yet again)

it means that you need to synchronize your music instead of just highlighting it and pressing copy. It shows up when you have done that and it would play the song until you do what is above.
