This is a Word Perfect file. Use any number of THS or Word Perfect to Doc converters that are out there on the web to convert your files. If you have wordperfect available, open the files in Wordperfect and use the built in export function to save as a different file type.

I am on MAC platform and would like to convert VM1 file to any audio format read by the MAC.

The only way to convert VM1 files to anything else is to use the Panasonic voice editing software. I have tried several other methods that claim to work but none of them have. The only way I was to do this was:
1.install a Windows XP operating system onto an old computer or get access to a Windows XP, Vista, or 2000.
2. I found an old Panasonic voice recorder off eBay that still had the software and purchased it (Panasonic RR-US470)
3. Installed the software
4. This is where it got tricky. The voice editing software doesn't recognize .vm1 files from other sources. The recorder and its software create its own file structure but if you put your own .vm1 files inside them, even with the same name, it still won't read it. Unless you do this.
A. Let's say you have 20 .vm1 files you want to convert you must first record 20 different voice recordings onto your voice recorder. These recordings can be like a second long.
B. Attach the voice recorder and move the new recordings to the folder using the software. The software will name the files MB001.vm1...MB002, etc. They will be hidden also.
C. Name your old files (the ones you want to convert to the same name as the 20 new recordings.)
D. Delete the new recordings from your computer and replace them with the files you want to convert. (the must have the same name).
E. Your software will now see the old files you want to convert. (On the software if you click outside the folder they are located and click back into it, you will now see the same files. It will still have the same duration as your new recordings but the file size will be bigger and you can listen to it and it will now be your old files.
F. Convert these to wave.

Once you get your .vm1 file converted smash your recorder and never use Panasonic ever again. There may be an easier way to do this, but I've tried many ways and nothing worked except this.

Can I easily transfer a video file from the Canon FS100 which uses an SD card to Pinnacle 14 and edit?

The question is "Does Pinnacle 14 read the format of Canon's videos?"

In my case, my Canon's video extention is "*.mov"; so I need to convert the movie file before I can edit it.

Check your editing program to make sure it supports the extention; otherwise, find a program to convert the Canon file into a readable file for your Pinnacle program.

Delco stereo wont play cd-r (mp3)

I believe CDA extensions are actually just shortcuts to the audio file and not the actual audio file. You will want to convert your MP3's to .wav in order to play them in your radio. Roxio and Nero version 4 and higher will automatically do this for you and a version should have come with your computer or CD burner. Just place the MP3's in the record section and select output audio CD.
