The Sanigrinds are a little harder to work on. Most likely the electrical subset is broken this is why water is leaking out of there. You will have to replace the electrical subset, be careful though. If not aligned properly, it will brake again upon installation.

I have a Panasonic a/c CW 500 RU. Hw do I find the drain pipe?

you can try to pull the unit out and take it outside and wash it out with a water hose just don't get the electric parts wet sounds like it may be dirty there should be drain holes on the bottom of the case.

I have just had a saniflo installed. When I put the power on it knocks the trip switch on the box straight off.

That means that somehow water got inside the pressure chamber which is where all the electrical components are, if it senses water it will trip the GFI and the unit will shut off completely. You may have to replace the whole pressure chamber since water may have corroded the electrical components.

is it pumping against gravity? if so there is a non-return flap in the outlet spigot could be stuck or worn.

The macerator wont turn off after toilet flushed - have taken it apart & cant see any obvious problem - what next ?

try cleaning with an acid descaler. if that doesnt work then its time to replace the pressure switch (micro-switch). These often give up well before the unit has reached its last legs.

Sanigrind pump don"t always start on all fushes

certainly indicates that the unit is not holding water (hence not starting on every flush). as you are seeing water in the shower - this is obviously where it is going. It may be that the internal flap (non return valve) is stuck open or damaged. If damaged you can put a new non return valve in your 40mm pipe run where the shower pipe enters the saniflo - about a tenner from most suppliers.

Hi there, we have a Saniflo system for a basement bathroom installed. The system stopped working so we checked the fuse box and it had tripped. We switched it back on and it worked fine for an hour. We had...

The saniflo system uses 2 stages stage one works sorta like a garbage disposal it breakes up waste, stage two is a high flo pump. one fo these has gone bad meaning the motor has burned up and shorted the sparking in the breaker pannel you refered to. As far as I know theese systems are self contained so you will have to have the unit repaced here is a link to the website so you can find a dealer or installer near you

Hope this helps.
