I can't seem to print anything - just started this afternoon. I was printing several pages from website and heard a almost screeching sound from printer on last page. Thought this was paper jam - but doesn't seem to be. I have looked in obvious areas and don't find paper, the red lite is on. I have restarted printer several times. No difference. Any clues?
I was printing about 150 or so pages in the midst of page 140, it screeched and stopped printing. Nothing jammed at all. I opened up every place, checked for anything amiss. Sprayed every spot I could with canned air and closed it up and tried to print ONE page. It won't print, it goes to the amber light after cycling through and saying it is going to print, but nadda!I was printing about 150 or so pages in the midst of page 140, it screeched and stopped printing. If this printer has the duplexor feature there is a plate just above the paper tray and the paper may be stuck in there. Pull out the paper tray and look for a sorta blue button on the top right side inside of the printer. Push that button and the duplexor tray will drop down and that is where the paper may be hiding.

Go to Staples in your area or try the staples.com website you might be able to get the same kind of printer or better. the people at Staples are friendly and they will be able to assist you they know a lot about these kind of things such as printers, and computers, and tablets and stuff. See if they can help you better.
Could be several things. I would start by eliminating the easiest things. Try another cable, decrease dpi settings (less memory usage), try a USB cable to see if theres a difference if a port is available. Update the print driver from Ricoh website.
the Konica Minolta Bizhub C350 is by nature a slow printing machine the standard memory that the machine comes with is only 256mb and it can only be upgraded to 512mb . but there are some things you can do to help speed it up a little. touch the utility/counter button touch admin setting on the touchscreen enter the admin password touch system setting touch output setting touch print/fax output settings touch print select between page print and batch print=select page print exit all the way out of admin mode then reboot the copier tests have shown that this changed a print job from taking a little over 2 minutes to taking about 9 seconds to start printing keep in mind this is definately not the fastest printing machine on the market hope this helps thanks for using fixya
Try reloading the drivers again. It's possible that the drivers got corrupted. Stay with the PCL5 drivers. Also upgrade the firmware if you haven't done so.
Good Afternoon, here are a few things to check for.
First, I presume your printer previously printed okay?
If not then I would check the printer cable first. Unplug then replug the USB cable into the printer. Does the computer make a sound and say found new hardware? If not probably bad cable.
Second, If you get the sound and/or message then cable is fine and we will go on to software.
Go to start menu - control - printers & faxes - double click on your printer icon
Make sure it does not say "Use printer offline" , if it does then click the printer tab & uncheck this option
Next try deleting and reinstalling via manufacturer disc or via website file from manufacturer.
You should try printing a test print before starting and after each step to see if it starts working. (click on printer tab - properties - print test page)
Let me know if this works for you. If not be glad to assist further.
Could be software. I have seen the last several Adobe latest version documents take several seconds to print. I have also seen increased print times with MS office 2003 Powerpoint documents. If it is a single page MS Word or Excel document and u are printing several copies of it, you should turn off the collate feature for printing of that document
Your shell extensions have a software conflict. The offending piece of software will have to be determined and removed, or at least stopped, before re-booting the computer. You may be able to repair the problem using the System Restore option.
yes ive just had this problem, cant get the red ligth to go out.. and no paper jam either.
