Hello

The problem is the file format of your music you put on the card is not supported by the phone. You need to refer to the manual for compatible music formats. Once you have done that you can then transfer them to your memory card. Typically Phones use MP3 format...if your uploading .wma files then that maybe the cause, or vice versa. There are many mp3 converter programs for free in case you need one.

IN ALMOST ALL PHONE WHENEVER WE USE MUSIC PLAYER IT CREATE A 'MY MUSIC' FOLDER IN MEMORY CARD.IN SOME PHONE IT CAN ONLY READ THOSE FILE WHICH ARE IN THIS FOLDER. SO WHAT YOU HAVE TO IS TO MOVE YOUR MP3 FILES TO 'MY MUSIC' FILE.
IF MY MUSIC FOLDER IS NOT THERE THEN MOVE ALL MUSIC FILE TO FOLDER WHICH HAS THOSE THREE MP3 FILE.MOVE ALL FILE THERE.
NOW YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE ALL MP3 FILES IN MUSIC PLAYER.
SAME RULES APPLY TO VIDEO PLAYER.
THANKS FOR USING FIXYA.

Connect phone using USB cable or the built in connector on Blue tooth enable phones. Select menu and press tools-mass storage-connect to pc. use your computer to navigate to the microSD card's music folder. Select and copy the music files to a folder on your computer hard drive. Tip although you can store AAC+files onm your computer, they will only be playable on your phone and on your account. hope it will help.JADF

I just bought a SanDisk 4GB microSDHC card at walmart and it shows up in my phone, but not my computer. How can I put music on it? Is this the right card I need?

What is your operating system? What is your card file system? If your operating system support FAT file system then check your memory card reader. If all is ok then try it with your data cable of your phone.

SANDISK

In an effort to inflate their bottom line many providers (can u say Verizon) "fix" the phone so that only files downloaded to the phone from their pay-for-Music site will go into the proper folder so that phone sees them. The trick then is to outsmart them by latching onto a hack that will allow u to get them into that folder.
This is especially true for ring tones.
