When powering the stuff there should be light indicated that there is a power on it. how ever if these not been observed, power adapter maybe busted. try to fix it or replace it. Please refer to the atari manual for the correct operation of your stuff.
The radio is either stuck in transmit or the RF power output section has a short in it. If there is no RECEIVE audio and the squelch is open, and the radio is not in transmit, the chances are pretty good that the audio power amplifier is shot.
hello all you need to do to fix a dropping signal like it shows a signal when freshly powering up the phone then after a few second the signal lost. In this problem you may replace the PA IC. Check first the supply voltage of that said IC before replacing it.
For a total No network signal shown on the device, check all the supply voltages across on its corresponding RF chips. if all the voltage readings were all okay. reply both PA and the RF chip alternaterly.
Check to port assignment in the guns. Sounds like a encryption issue. Did you go through the connection procedure like you do with a PC? Port, passcode, etc?
I've seen Genesis consoles that are just plain bad, rusted inside and screwed up, no fixing that. I hope that isn't the case but it sounds similar to what happened to me, and mine was garbage.
make sure its on the right channel (3 or 4 depending on the RF switch). also wiggle the A/V cable to see if its a loose port. Try holding the cartridge back or forth when powering it on in case the pins that touch the cart inside the console are loose and just aren't making contact (if this is the case there are guides on how to open up the Gen and make them stick out more, fixing it)
lost cause, take em back if you can. Next time make sure you break them in, don't overpower them, make sure the crossover is set up right and if it sounds distorted.... it's bad on your woofers.
Try Motorola’s Customer Support Center at 1-866-668-2271 or 1-866-MOT-BCS1. You didn't disconnect the short cable between the RF IN and TO RF IN ports, right?
I have the same problem. When I move the 8300HDC away from the TV, or power off the TV, the remote responds. There seems to be some kind of RF interference, which makes no sense since the TV shouldn't emit RF, and the the box should be using IR only for remote input. My TV is a 46" LCD Samsung. Try turning off the TV and see if the 8300HDC responds to powering on and off with the remote.
