Take off the cold water line from the valve on the wall. be sure and turn off the water first. the screen on the hose end may be plugged with rust or some debris.

Problem with wash tower of GE GSD2200G00ww not rising up

if the tower isn't rising DURING the wash cycle it is most likely caused by one of 2 issues. 1 being too low of a water level which can be caused by low flow thru the pipes, blocked filter in the inlet valve, or a bad inlet valve. The 2nd cause can be low pump pressure due to the main food shredder screen, located below the large plastic "filter" in the rear right-hand corner, being plugged with garbage. The valve can be replaced if needed, the filter can be cleaned w/o removal of the entire unit, but if the water flow is low, you will most likely need a plumber.

Not getting enough water during rinse cycle

In the rinse cycle it will use cold only to rinse with.
You need to see how fast the water is going into the machine on rinse
Things that can effect slow fill, low water pressure, Faulty cold valve
water hose & valve filters clogged, Kinked hose

My washer will fill with water during the wash cycle just fine, but during the rinse cycle the water just trickles in. The water lines seem to be fine. What else could be causing my problem?

usually the wash is a mix of hot and cold and the rinse is just cold, that said, it is most likely a problem with the cold water supply. check to make sure the cold water valve is all the way open and the hose isn't kinked. If those are ok turn the water supply off and remove the supply lines on the machine side, you will see a screen inside the washer that may be clogged with sediment. If so, just clean it out and put it back together. You may also want to run a wash cycle on cold only to see if it fills slowly for the wash cycle. If it does fill slowly on cold you have low pressure on the cold side.

When washing machine goes to rinse cycle, water barely comes in

I am going to guess you run a warm wash, and cold rinse. This sounds like the screen on the cold water inlet is clogged. Shut the water off and remove the hose at the back of the machine. Look in the water inlet and see if the screen is clogged. If so, carefully scrape it as clean as you can. Use a straw and blow into it to help clear it out. Replace the hose and try it. It does not need to be perfectly clean, but at least half way opened will suffice.

Cold water trickling out of machine during rinse cycle

Check cold water pressure to washer. if pressure o/k then you will probably need a new cold inlet valve fitting.

Washer cycle has stopped during the cycle and is showing FH wondering what the problem is, we can't find the manual

Hi,
FH is usually a low pressure warning on the water supply.
You could try cleaning the small filter in the back of the machine, as it may have limescale blocking it.
If this doesn't cure it, you may have to just use a cold supply instead, or arrange to have a pressurised hot water feed.
This usually happens in bungalows and flats without enough hot water pressure.
