Can't get any other headphone or any thing to work in my iPhone 3gs

Do a hard reboot on your iPhone...

- Press-hold the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously.

- Continue holding both buttons until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart. This will take anywhere from 15-60 seconds.

- You may let go when you see the silver Apple logo. You have now completed the hard reset successfully.

- Don't be alarmed that it takes quite a while to load from the Apple logo to the main screen. This is normal.

IPhone 3G - frozen at on screen with apple logo. It is only showing the logo with an incomplete loading circle. I have tried to hook it up to my PC to reset, but it's not recognizing that it is...

Seems that some files have been corrupt on the software and you might need to reload the firmare.
I suggest that if the phone is new you can opt for a free warranty service by visiting the nearest store for assistance, if not take estimation if there is no way that the phone resets even with the PC.
Finally try connecting to another PC to make sure that the phone is the suspect.

How do i change my iphone from chinese settings?

Hey there,

You can reset your iphone back to default english by doing a "hard reset".

Press-hold the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously.

Continue holding both buttons (Ignore the "Slide to power off") until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart.

You may let go when you see the silver Apple logo.

You have completed a hard reset successfully.

Don't be alarmed that it takes quite a while to load from the Apple logo to the main screen. This is normal.

Iphone wont turn off after reset.

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond
  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

More resets:
Try This:
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
3. Replace Sim Card
4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.

Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.
