Question about LG KG800 Cellular Phone
Canot recieve or transfer any bluetooth ringtones on sprint lg rumor
Sprint did this intentionally. It was done in order to prevent trading copy righted material, to gain more money for sprint since you will have to buy their tones and what not. Also this was done to help prevent the spread of viruses. Your highspeed cellphone is more like a macro computer than you may think and they are succeptable to viruses as well. Do I think its trash, YES I DO. We should be able to use our phones as we choose, but this is what you have and why - Viruses and money......

I have myself a LG Rumor and I know the problem... What you need to do is go to menu/tools/bluetooth/settings/exchange FTP Folder/options/change exchange FTP folder/music...(PS you will need a micro SD memory chip to do this... Now once you have done that you can right click your .mp3 file and go to send to bluetooth.. search for your phone and it will send... then go to media player and you have your music... BUT I still havent figured out how to send it as a ringtone. sorry for the inconvenience..

Not many sprint phones let you transfer ringtones or ringtones through bluetooth, most only send contacts and other useless things.

Well i said no more buying ringtones from sprint,im not putting more of my money into that sucky company. So i found a website that you can upload songs to then send them to your phone. It will send you the link in a text which if you have internet ( i do) it works out perfectly & its free because your uploading your own music. You can also do this with pictures & make it your background. The website is www.myxertones.com Hope this helps :]

Spotlight search for "Bluetooth File Exchange" and then
Cmd-Shift-O will let you choose a device to browse
Then you'll be able to access your exchange folder (you can change that on the phone under menu/settings/bluetooth/change exchange folder) and take files in or out.
No idea how to do it on windows though

I'VE FIGURED IT OUT! If you have a mac, all you need to do is go into your settings > bluetooth>your computer> settings> Exchange FTPonce you've connected to ur phone, and change the Exchange FTP Folder to music, it's set naturally on pictures...and then....it works!

If you have Sprint, there is no way to bluetooth anything other than Calendar events or a phone entry. I was upset about this when I figured this out. I upload songs to http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/ and send the ringtones to my phone.

This is very simple if u have a mac. when u have ur bluetooth turned on, on your computer and sprint phone or whatever phone carrier, the top tool bar near the clock and finder near the right top part of the computer screen will have a blue toth symbol set up your blutooth device and then go to browse device. and then click the send button and it will bring up files that u can send to your computer. then from your phone go into settings and make sure ur exchange is set to memory card,"u need a memory card for this" and it will pair up and you will find ur music in the media player on your phone as im typing this im sending songs so I know it works.

I hate this piece of ******** ******* phone. It will not let set my
music as my ring tones. The music isn't able to be sent through blue
tooth. I mean for real what **** is this? On top of that all, on my LG
Rumor they don't send Head Phones or USB cords with our phone. All they
know how to ******* send is a little booklet and they phone. Sometimes
with a charger that works here and there. Your lucky if you can even
get that ****.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
