Question about Homelite Mighty Lite Lawn Trimmer
I have read this forum, and I agree with all the tech tips for older trimmers. But why would Homelite build a trimmer that won't run right out of the box, and use special jet screws so that normal homeowners can't adjust them? I should have taken this POS back the day I got it, and I refuse to take a $70 new trimmer in for service and pay again. If I can't get it to run, I am just going to toss it in the garbage where it belongs. It will start on full choke, try to run on half choke for a few minutes and then die. It will not run on the Run setting. I will never buy a Homelite product again. Any help with this POS is appreciated.
Agreed all these cheap trimmers are built at a price the only way to tune them is to take it to the dealer, The special tool costs nearly as much as the machine.
So most machines under 100 dollars are throw away and replace its bs but everything is ending up the same.
