Question about Panasonic PV-C1320 13 in. TV/VCR Combo

Cannot program cable to tv

Hi, So first I should say that I don't have the remote to the tv. So I first hooked the tv up to a basic cable antenna and it automatically tuned the channels. But in doing so it cut out certain channels. For example it goes from channel 2 to 4 and then to 5 and then 7. So now once I have a cable box hooked up to it, which needs it to be on channel 3, I can't get it to go on to channel 3!

Re: cannot program cable to tv

If your are using a cable box,all of your channels will be control only on the cable, what you are going to do is use the remote control of the cable box.

How do i hook up an antenna to a samsung tv model no. cxj1952

If the set only has a coax cable fitting and you have a antenna with flat wire--you need the adapter that takes the flat wire and slides onto the coax fitting.

Once done in the menu you have to set the set to cable and operate the auto program etc.

Advent tv indoor antenna hook up

If the antenna has a cable like cable wire--hook it direct to the cable fitting on the set.

If the antenna uses the flat type wire (called 300 ohm twin wire) use an adapter that will connect to the end and have screws for the flat wires and a cable slide on the other side to slide onto the cable fitting on the rear of the TV

Changing to antenna

Firstly, depending which reception area you are in, an indoor antenna may not give you a good signal across all your channels. If in you put the antenna into the aerial connector of the TV & if in your set up menu, there is an Auto tune option then enter this & it will tune in all the channels it can find. If not then select the Manual tune option & you will need to tune each channel as you find them. Follow the on screen instructions as a guide.

Lost the remote

Without the Panasonic remote you can not get to those features to program these sets. I have included a link to purchase a replacement remote control. They aren't expensive and much easier to use than a universal remote. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks...

Changing to "Cable" from Antenna without a remote

if you have a cable box, just put the tv on channel 3,or a aux input.[depending on your hook up] if it's cable without a box,go to the menu setup screen on the tv look for a air/cable setting, choose cable. then do a auto program search.

Panasonic PV-C1352W cable signal

They claim that if you leave the set unplug from the wall for about 10 minutes and then plug it back in and ushing the power button the set will auto program all the channels available,Without the remote is possible but not as easy,in the front of the set you have the stop/eject button and the REW button,if you press both buttons at the same time a MENU(display) should come up on the screen, keep pressing action until the CH square is highlighted then use the arrows up or down until antenna is selected the use the arrows left or right to change it to Cable, once is in the cable mode go down one more to auto set and press the arrow to the right and it should auto program all the available channels. I hope I made sense but just in case here is the link to the owners manual ,it can be done. You can use my name in a new question to let me know how it goes ir if you need more information.
