Sounds like the outlet valve on the top drawer has gone. This prevents water flowing back in to the drawer.

SOURCE: no power top drawer

Try to reset your dish washer. Turn off main power supply and leave it for at least 1 min. Is there any error code appear/beeping sound?

SOURCE: water in top drawer

I am not a repairman but have installed several duel drawer dishwashers. Most dishwashers have a check valve preventing backflow. Water under pressure will always follow the path of least resistance and in your case it is going into the upper drawer. Be sure the drain is open and flowing easily under your sink whether that be the disposal or a TEE. It may help if the drain line is elevated as high as it can go under the sink just before it reaches the drain. How often do you use the top drawer? Perhaps run a cycle on the hottest cycle without dishes to attemt to clean or force through any contaminants in the check valve through into the drain. Hope this helps, Ken

SOURCE: I have a Fisher Paykel dishwasher with water in top drawer

You need a Air gap kit designed by Fisher and Paykel to address this problem. It is pricey but it is worthy. I used this and very happy with it since no back flow problem from one while other running. Here is a link to order it.http://www.fisherpaykelparts.net/product/WT50/WT50-Dual-Air-Gap-Kit/

Keep blowing fuses

This means there is water collected on the base of the dishwasher cabinet under the bottom drawer. You will need to disconnect the dishwasher mains plug and take the bottom drawer out to dry the base out. Follow instructions in this manual (page 7 step 2) to remove the drawer.

Have a kitchenaid double drawer dishwasher. While running the bottom drawer the top drawer fills up with water. Had the filler valve on the garbage disposal changed. Issue still continues. Any suggestions

Mine does the same thing! (Same model) I've finally discovered that if I start the bottom drawer first and the top drawer just after that doesn't happen as much. Also, if I run the garbage disposal (and water obviously) while it's starting (I will try to do my hand washing while the dishwasher is getting going) that seems to keep this from happening as well. I've given up running just one drawer, which totally defeats the purpose of buying the 2 drawer dishwasher. But it does keep me from having to bail the bottom drawer :-( I'd like a better solution to this too!

F1 code on my Fischer Paykal drawer dish washer . This is the flood sensor . It was. tripped when water was splashed in a plug that shares the same Circuit. How do I reset the sensor?

Not sure if the flood sensor will trip if the water is splashed into the mains plug. F1 can also occur if the power to the top drawer has failed. Flood sensor trips when water collects at the base of the dishwasher housing under the bottom drawer.
I think the problem you mention has caused the power to the top drawer to fail due to a spike when the splash on the power plug occured. This is very easy to see. Check if the display on top drawer is blank.

Have a rental property with F&P two draw dishwasher aprox five years old. Apparently bottom draw is holding water - what do you think?

Could be many reasons for the bottom drawer to hold water.

It could be leaky top drawer causing water to collect in the bottom drawer. Check if water collects when top drawer is running.

It could be blockage in the bottom drawer drainage which can be fixed by cleaning the filter plate and the drain sump. If the drain pump is not running during drain cycle then you will have to replace the drain pump motor.

Top drawer is draining into bottom drawer and bottom drawer is draining into top drawer

Hi, Make sure that the drain hoses are looped at least as high as the top washing part. With no loop the water is free to pump from one drawer to the other. I simply tied the hoses up under the sink with twist ties. That was over 2 years ago and haven't had the problem since. Good luck!

F&P double drawer (DD603) won't empty

Ok you need to remove the motor rotor it's under the spray arm and comes out like a light bulb from the top draw and check for anyting stuck under it or any damage done to it. Try swapping it with the one out of the bottome drawer and see if that works. When you first start the washer does it drain all the water?? if still no luck try swapping the motor contoller modules (computer board) from the top drawer to the bottom drawer and retry both drawers ,if the fault moves drawers with the part, then that part is faulty cheers

Dish drawer leaks Fisher Paykel

When water accumulates in the bottom it triggers an error code and it keeps running. There is a water sensor in the bottom. I pull out the bottom drawer, mop up the water and use a hair dryer to dry the water (the more you mop up the less you need the hair dryer). Be careful to not get any of the plastic too hot. Kill the power before messing with the unit. The first time I did this it took 20 minutes to dry out. I have gotten more proficient and it take about 5 minutes now.

I had a water leak which was due to the rinse agent cap not being completely sealed. Water leaked out of a small hole in the front (I'm guessing an air vent but don't know for sure) and flooded the bottom.

I also had a leak due to having too tall a dish in the drawer and the top not sealing. I currently have a leak on the top drawer of unknown origin, but the bottom drawer still works.
Hope this helps.
