Trying to find info on Singer Sewing machine Serial numbrt AD069030

The AD069030 is a model 66 machine built after April 1, 1930. You can find the serial number lookup table here: http://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_machine_company/serial-numbers/singer-sewing-machine-serial-number-database.html . The manual to the model 66 treadle machine is available from Singer here: http://www.singerco.com/support/instruction-manuals . The direct link to the manual is http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/41_66.pdf . There are additional web pages on the history of the 66 available through a Google search for 'Singer 66 sewing machine'.

I hope this helps.

Where can I get a manual for an unidentified sewing machine?

If it is unidentified, unless it is a weird bird, it is most likely a vintage mechanical machine, either (A) Generic copy/clone of a Singer model. If so, then view Singer models to see which looks most like yours, then search for that manual, most vintage Singers have free manuals on line (from Singer, ISMCS, or other collector's web site, or for sale), or (B) Non-clone precision Japanese post-war sewing machine. These are basic machines, and many vintage singer manuals will suffice to be able to operate them. Start by viewing manuals the most probable suspects:
1. Singer 15 (15-Class is the most common clone, and has the bobbin underneath, using a Bobbin Case. The bobbin has a series of holes around both sides.
2. Singer 66 (66-Class is also copied, and has a drop-in bobbin,
not need to load a bobbin case. If the machine is small, you may want to view manuals for the Singer 99-13, a 3/4 scale of the model 66.
3. If these two do not help, then just start looking for images of machines that look like yours, and review their manuals. You will soon be able to figure out how to thread and sew on most sewing machines.
Good place to start to ID machines:

I have a singer treadle sewing mchine class 66k Reg no EB851316 and I am looking for a manual. What number do I look for Instuctions for a 66 -

Hi there, you should use the 66 number. Go to www.singerco.com Click on Customer support, click on instruction manuals, in the search block type in 66 without the "K" and click on search. Scroll down until you see the 66 manual. Choose the one that is free and click on the free download button. Enjoy!

I bought a Singer 328K at a second hand shop. I cleaned and oiled it but the motor just hums and runs very slowly. I think the belt may need tightened or replaced. Is it possible to do it myself and...

The Singer 328K "style-o-matic" is a Class 66 sewing machine with a solid handwheel. Like the 328, and most style 66 machines, this one takes Singer Motor Belt # 193077. Any singer vendor should be able to help you and as of this writing (2010) the part runs around $10. In case you have a parts machine around or find vendors less knowledgeable here are some other machines using the same belt: Pfaff 330 Series Singer 127 Singer 128 Singer 15-88 Singer 15-90 Singer 15-91 Singer 185 Singer 185K3 Singer 206 Singer 206K Singer 223 Singer 27 Vibrating Shuttle Singer 306K Singer 306W Singer 319K Singer 327K Singer 327K Singer 328K Style-O-Matic (YOURS) Singer 329K Singer 66 Singer 66-1 Singer 66-14 Singer 66-16 Singer 66-18 Singer 66-24 Singer 66-4 Singer 66-6 Singer 66-8 Singer 99 Class Singer 99-13 Singer 99-31 Singer 99K
Hope this helps!
