Hotpoint wma37 washes clothes ok but won...

the hotpoint has a saftey factor built into it if the water does not drain it will not spin , the fault is the pump is blocked or broke or the sump hose is block this leads into the pump

to fix take the drain hose the grey one and put it in to a bucket and it will empty the water

if not the sump hose is blocked

if it emptys lie the machine on its side if poss with power off , if it will not lie on its side disconect the water hoses

look under the machine u should see the pump and the sump hose u can remoe this hose put lots of old towels down to catch the water check in side the sump hose for blockages

the pump this on the new models has hex bit screws on it to open check to see if it move freely it should spring back slightly
