Question about Tower Aloha Breeze Fan
We got our year old tower fan out of storage recently, I cools ok but the squeak is there when oscillating or still. Can I clean or oil something to stop the noise? Thanks
If the model is equipped with a fan, and the noise occurs even when not oscillating it must be a fan/blower motor. If it is a squeak. A squeal could be an electical component going bad which is always bad. I would definitely take some bottom drawer tools , ie. screwdrivers and WD-40 and oil that squeaking motor. Being a fan it goes through alot of air pollutants. That tends to build up on the shaft and can work its way into the bearing seal. Good luck.
