Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer

HP F380 i used this printer almost 4 months now but problem start when in printing and the printer get paper properly and it seem that the printer print as usual but when i check the printout, there is no ink at this printout. i thought that there is no ink in the cartridge and i buy new one and install the ink proper then print again. but it stil no ink in the printout . . . the connections are all working. cause i can scan picture with no problem, the printing is the only problem with this printer . . . is there any solution with this? Tnx

    i have the same problem about hp 380 all in one. It is not printing any of my documents, theres no ink that flows and so i thought that i have to refill, but the same problem occured. Please help me. Thnks

Try cleaning your ink nozzles or ink jets. It sounds like you have a plugged nozzle or two. Your printerHP F380 - 2.gif program should have maintenance options that allow you to test for plugged nozzles and clean them.

In control panel, open the printing/fax icon, right click on your printers4.gif icon, left click properties, then on the bottom of the page the panel that opens you will see a button that says printing preferences, and that should open your print1.gif program.

This will work for all printers, not just hp.

Hi,
Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

HP deskjet F380 - 'status: paper jam'. There is no paper jam!


Unplug the power cord and while doing that make sure printer is powered on i mean do not turn off the printer using the power button. When you unplug the power cord than press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Than release the power button and connect the power cord and then try to print.

My printer wont print on photo paper.


Is it worked in past? Have you contact the HP for this problem? Since most of All-in-one printer do not possess better print facility, so it is difficult to use this one for photo print..
Photo paper is thick and may be motor not taking complete load of it. Check out with the roller moving firmly.

Hi , prnter does not respond within a few seconds , the printing jobs are backlog , it must be delete all or cancelled it , so that the printer can move on.

Please pardon the apparently obvious questions but unobserved incidents occur and this may be relatively simple

Is the device plugged in securely? There are three possible points of disconnection? I have had cables loosely plugged into power bricks that appear connected but in fact were not.

If plugged into a powerstrip is the power strip on?

Is the printer on?

Is the USB cable properly connected at both ends? it may have slipped loose.

Is the printer displaying an error such as out of paper or empty ink cartridge or paper jam?

To print from a software application (Windows)
1. Make sure you have paper loaded in the input tray.
2. On the File menu in your software application, click Print.
3. Make sure the HP All-in-One is the selected printer.
4. If you need to change settings, click the button that opens the Properties dialog
box.
Depending on your software application, this button might be called Properties,
Options, Printer Setup, Printer, or Preferences.
5. Select the appropriate options for your print job by using the features available on
the various tabs.
6. Click OK to close the Properties dialog box.
7. Click Print or OK to begin printing.
