How do I replace a Kitchen Aid Icemaker - Amana ARB9059CS Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

Make sure the swing arm is all the way down and not hanging on anything.

Does it have an icemaker? Was the water line plastic tubing or copper? If plastic, it could have been dried out and cracked by the heat from the motor.

wait 24 hours and see if it starts up.

The issue is likely that the icemaker fill tube is frozen due to poor water pressure. You can use a turkey baster to thaw this tube which fills the icemaker. Make sure you use plenty of hot water because they often freeze back several inches!

Probaly a fault on water pump.

Generally icemaker water line is seperate then the water dispencer so it is possible that it is frozen.

Chances are the fill valve at the bottom back of the refrigerator is clogged or failed. This valve opens to allow water to fill into the icemaker.
It could also be that the fill switch in the icemaker has failed, or depending on type of icemaker, the ice level bar is flipped up, or the mold heater sensor has failed.

i bet the module on the icemaker is bad ,,,, if the icemaker set where you can pull off the cover and look at the gear and see if the center pin is broken or twisted then the module is bad and if you contact me i will check on the part for you ,,, if its not then you have a bad valve that supplys water to the icemaker ,,, your frig has a double valve so water in door can work but not icemaker / larry
